ABOLHASSANI
BACHELOR OF INTERIOR DESIGN
I’m an Interior Design Lead with over a decade of experience spanning hospitality, residential, workplace, and mixed-use projects across North America and internationally. My career has been built on delivering projects from early concept through construction, balancing creative vision with business strategy, budgets, and timelines.
At Marlin Spring Developments, I led the design of high-rise condominiums, branded sales offices, and corporate headquarters renovation, working across pre-construction planning, value engineering, FF&E procurement, and consultant coordination. This role strengthened my ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects and align design outcomes with both client and business objectives.
Previously at IBI Group/Arcadis, I gained diverse experience across two distinct studios. With the Hospitality & Residential team, I contributed to the full design phases of luxury resorts, international hospitality venues, and multi-residential developments. Overseeing floor plans, materiality, detailing, FF&E, and documentation. Within the Corporate team, I worked on offices, mixed-use developments, and transit projects, where I developed feasibility studies, signage packages, and corporate workplace strategies.
I’ve also worked directly with corporate real estate teams at major financial institutions, managing retail branch prototypes, office renovations, and workplace rollouts. These roles required close collaboration with cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, and consultants to ensure design solutions were innovative, practical, and brand-aligned.
At the heart of my approach is collaboration and leadership, mentoring design teams, coordinating across disciplines, and ensuring that every project delivers both functional performance and memorable user experiences. I’m passionate about bringing spaces to life that inspire connection, reflect identity, and stand the test of time.
"Form follows function—that has been misunderstood. Form and function should be one, joined in a spiritual union."
--- Frank Lloyd Wright
